Jasmin B. Frelih (1986) is a Slovenian novelist and essayist whose work explores the complexities of identity, history, and consciousness in a hyper-modern world. A graduate of Comparative Literature and History from the University of Ljubljana, his debut novel, Na/pol (In/Half), garnered international acclaim, receiving the European Union Prize for Literature in 2016 and a nomination for the International Dublin Literary Award. Grounded in a unique transatlantic perspective, his writing synthesizes disparate concepts to probe the fragile space between personal freedom and systemic control. His work has been translated into a dozen languages.
